Consultation Fees
and Charges
Fees vary greatly with your age, your entitlement to subsidies and the services you require. We can give you an estimate over the phone depending on whether you want a consultation with a nurse or doctor, or whether you want other services as well.
Enrolment with us is free.

Table of our fees
Please try to see the same doctor whenever possible to maintain continuity of care. This will result in better care for you. Follow up appointments are not usually discounted.
The table below shows our base fees. Our fees will vary depending on your enrolment status, day of the week etc. Contact us for more information.
Important Information
GP appointments are up to 15 minutes. We will try to see you the same day if possible. However, if your doctor is fully booked you will be offered another day or an appointment with one of the other doctors. If your problem is urgent please explain to the Receptionist, she may ask you to talk to the Nurse.
All emergencies will take priority and appointment times are approximate. An additional fee may be charged for complex or longer consultations.
If you have a number of issues to discuss on the same day, please book a double appointment. Double appointments will be charged a double fee.
Payment Policy
At HillMed Health Centre we have a Pay on the Day Policy for all consultations. Payment can be made in house by Eftpos, Cash, or via Direct Bank Payment.
Reduced fees apply to Community Service Card (CSC) holders. A non attendance fee of $40.00 may be charged for appointments that are cancelled without sufficient notice.
If you are unable to pay on the day, please ask to speak with our Management Team who will talk with you in private.
Casual Patients
If you do not expect to receive most of your health care services from us, you may wish to remain as a Casual patient.
However, as we do not receive any funding for Casual patients, rates for patients who are not enrolled are higher than our standard fee, see the fee table above.
